Un studieu exile

Artworks shown as part of an exhibition organised by D.L.O. (Diaspora Libanaise overseas) at the town hall of Paris's 5th district.

Profits from sales were donated to the DLO, which supports Lebanese students in France.

In the 2020s, the Lebanese economic crisis, the thawra, the port explosion and the wars with Israel have pushed a new generation of Lebanese youth into exile.

The artist made these works thinking of these youth, but also of her parents, who both left Lebanon in the midst of the civil war at 18 to pursue higher education in Paris.
